TECHNICAL TRAINING

Boeing 747-100 and Boeing 747-400 Engine Run Training

 

AMMTC can provide classroom training and support simulator training for Engine Run Certification Training for both the Boeing 747-100 or the Boeing 747-400 aircraft.  This training will be for experienced Airframe and Powerplant Certificated Mechanics.

AIRCRAFT PURCHASE OR RETURN 

WE CAN PROVIDE HANDS ON RECORDS REVIEW, AIRCRAFT PHYSICAL INSPECTIONS.

AMMTC can provide the following services to assist the customer with Aircraft Purchase or Aircraft Return to Owner/Leasing Company:

  • Aircraft records review

  • AD compliance

  • TCI verification

  • Aging Aircraft Regulatory Requirements (if applicable)

  • Aircraft physical inspection

HEAVY MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS

WE CAN PROVIDE HANDS ON PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT.

Structural Modification Programs

On-Site Management

 

AMMTC will provide the required On-Site Representatives necessary to manage the Structural Modification Program Requirements for the Client. 

The On-Site Representative will perform the following tasks for the Client:

  • Assist the Client with reviewing the requirements for the Structural Modification Program.

  • Assist the Client with developing and ordering material requirements for the Structural Modification Program.

  • Assist the Client with developing a “Long Lead Items List” for the Structural Modification Program.

  • Assist the Client with developing a proposed schedule for the Structural Modification Program.

  • Assist the Client with developing an estimated cost for the Structural Modification Program.

 

Heavy Check Program

On-Site Management

 

AMMTC will assist the Client with the development of the requirements of a Heavy Check, C Check or D Check, for the specific aircraft going into a Major Check.

 

AMMTC will provide the required On-Site Representatives necessary to manage the Major Check Requirements for the Client. 

FAA DESIGNEE

WE CAN PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DAR FUNCTIONS.

DESIGNATED AIRWORTHINESS REPRESENTATIVE

 

AMMTC has just added a new service.  We can now provide services as an FAA Designee, Designated Airworthiness Representative for Maintenance (DAR-T).  We have been authorized the following functions by the FAA:

 

Authorized Functions and Limitations: 

  1. Function Code 101 - Issue recurrent standard airworthiness certificates (including amended or replacement certificates), and special flight permits for the purposes outlined in 14 CFR 21.197(a)(1)(2)(4), and 21.197(b), for propeller-driven airplanes and powered or unpowered gliders.

  2. Function Code 102 – Issue recurrent standard airworthiness certificates (including amended or replacement certificates), and special flight permits for the purposes outlined in 14 CFR 21.197(a)(1)(2)(4), and 21.197(b), for U.S. registered, turbojet powered airplanes type certificated for a Gross Take-Off Weight (GTOW) of 85,000 pounds or less.

  3. Function Code 103 – Issue recurrent standard airworthiness certificates (including amended or replacement certificates), and special flight permits for the purposes outlined in 14 CFR 21.197(a)(1)(2)(4), and 21.197(b), for U.S. registered, turbojet powered airplanes type certificated for a Gross Take-Off Weight (GTOW) more than 85,000 pounds.

  4. Function Code 128 - Issue original/recurrent special airworthiness certificates (including amended and replacement certificates), and special flight permits for the purposes outlined in 14 CFR 21.197(a)(1)(2)(4), and 21-197(b), in the experimental category for the purpose market survey, research and development, or crew training for U.S. registered propeller-driven airplanes and powered or unpowered gliders.

  5. Function Code 129 – Issue original/recurrent special airworthiness certificates (including amended and replacement certificates), and special flight permits for the purposes outlined in 14 CFR 21.197(a)(1)(2)(4), and 21-197(b), in the experimental category for the purpose market survey, research and development, or crew training for U.S. registered turbojet powered airplanes.

  6. Function Code 137 - Issue recurrent/original special airworthiness certificates (including amended and replacement certificates), and special flight permits for the purposes outlined in 14 CFR 21.197(a)(1(2)(4), and 21.197(b), in experimental category for the purposes of operating exhibition or air racing for U.S.-registered propeller-driven aircraft located in the U.S.

  7. Function Code 171 - Issue recurrent export approvals for propeller driven airplanes and powered or unpowered gliders.

  8. Function Code 172 - Issue recurrent export approvals for turbojet powered airplanes type certificated for a GTOW of 85,000pounds or less.

  9. Function Code 173 - Issue recurrent export approvals for turbojet powered airplanes type certificated for a GTOW of more than 85,000 pounds.

 

FAR PART 145

REPAIR STATION

WE CAN PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING HANDS ON ASSISTANCE.

AMMTC can assist the Client with reviewing their requirements for developing a new Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO).

 

AMMTC can assist the Client with the basic Aircraft Maintenance Hanger design to meet the maintenance requirements for the type and number of aircraft desired to be maintained by the Client’s new MRO.

Assist with the basic design requirements.

Assist with reviewing the Engineering Design Requirements.

Assist with identifying and procuring basic hanger requirements.

Assist with hanger shop layout requirements.

Assist with On-Site Management during the MRO build.

 

FAR Part 145 Repair Station Certification Requirements.

 

AMMTC can help the Client develop and write a Repair Station Manual, tailored to the Client’s requirements that will meet all the requirements of FAR Part 145.

AMMTC can act as the Client’s Representative when presenting the completed Repair Station Manual to the FAA.

AMMTC can help the Client develop and write a Repair Station Training Manual, tailored to the Client’s requirements that will meet all the requirements of FAR Part 145.

FAR PART 147

AIRFRAME & POWERPLANT SCHOOL

WE CAN PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING HANDS ON ASSISTANCE.

AMMTC has already written all the requirements for an FAR Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant School, presented this to the FAA and received FAA Certification.  AMMTC can assist the Client with developing all the FAA requirements for obtaining FAA Certification for their FAR Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant School.  In order to do this AMMTC will take the Client’s requirements and tailor the Airframe and Powerplant program to their requirements and facility.

 

Develop an FAA required Operations Manual for the Client’s requirements.

 

Assist the Client with selecting basic training manuals for their program.

 

Develop all FAA required Curriculum, Lesson Plans and Lab Projects for the General, Airframes and Powerplants School.

 

Assist the Client with the layout of the classrooms and Labs required for the General, Airframes and Powerplants teaching requirements.

 

Assist the Client with the design and purchase of Training Aids and Mock-ups required for the General, Airframes and Powerplants per the Client’s requirements.

 

Assist the Client with the procurement of the required Text Books required for the General, Airframes and Powerplants classes.

 

Assist the Client with the development and purchasing of consumables required for the General, Airframes and Powerplants Lab requirements.

 

Assist the Client with the development and purchasing of the basic hand tools and special tools required for teaching the General, Airframes and Powerplants classes.

 

Assist the Client with FAA Certification requirements to receive the FAA approval for their FAR Part 147 School.
